Gerhard is responsible for implementing processes and procedures to ensure that Stage2Data is ready for the growth phase we are expecting and driving as an organisation. Ensuring that there is clear communication between sales and tech and that the technical team is empowered through continual training and improvement especially around the products and services that Stage2Data has to offer. This is assisted by focusing on core products and services and ensuring that a formal productisation process is adhered to before going to market with new offerings. Improving communications of the professional services department. This in turn improves customer query and issues resolution leading to great customer experience.
The Experience
Before joining Stage2Data in Canada to oversee the company’s as-a-service offering (DRaaS, IaaS and BaaS), Gerhard was a Web and IT Engineer at the Engineering Council of South Africa from 2008 to 2018 managing internal infrastructure as well as user support and website administration. Prior to this he was a Database developer for Incase IS, contracted out to ABSA Capital.

Gerhard enjoys cricket, golf and spending time with family and friends.
