Case Study: Onboarding Cohesity Improves Stage2Data’s Top and Bottom Lines

Enterprises are increasingly turning to managed service providers (MSPs) to accelerate cloud adoption and offer best of breed innovative solutions. We recently onboarded Cohesity’s comprehensive data management platform that includes multitenant features and robust security to grow our as-a-service offering. We realised that a new technology partner needed to come on board to ensure rapid virtual machine recovery and be flexible in its approach.

Challenge

We started looking at alternative solutions to grow our business and were in search of a solution that could solve backup challenges, support multiple data management use cases and facilitate IT modernization. The rapid rollout of new services such as Microsoft 365 backups was a further requirement for the solution we sought.

Solution

To address the challenges mentioned above, we adopted Cohesity which has significantly expanded our array of data management services including backup, disaster recovery and file archiving. All our as-a-service offerings are now delivered through Cohesity to serve healthcare providers, financial service providers, municipalities, and other organizations.

We moved our customers to Cohesity to benefit from the technology pioneer’s robust data protection strategy that is easy to use and offers tight security and superior support. With Cohesity, we have confidence that our data on Cohesity’s data management platform is optimally protected from ransomware attacks. The migration has helped us increase our top and bottom lines; we have completed more sales in three months with Cohesity than in the last four years with the previous technology provider and we just keep growing.

Result

We have seen a substantial increase in revenue since partnering with Cohesity. In addition, we also accelerated customer acquisition and improved recovery service level agreements which, in turn, boost staff productivity and drive scale.
